In 1932 Lois married Benjamin (Buck) Couch. She worked at many companies over the years as a stenographer and for a while was a nanny. Lois was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Kokomo and was the oldest survivor of the Onward High School Alumni Association in Onward, Indiana. She loved watching football and basketball and in the spring you could find her mushroom hunting. Lois was also well traveled, taking many cruises with her husband. She even had a chance to take a tour of the Holy Land and get baptized in the Jordan River. In her golden years you could find her working word search puzzles, reading her Bible and watching “Pretty Woman”. Lois loved spending time with and being around her family.
In addition to her husband and parents, Lois was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Cotterman; sister, Vivian Yoder; daughter, Jerolyn Blessing; daughter-in-law, Carolie Couch; and great-grandson, Benjamin Fague.
Lois is survived by her brother Jack Cotterman; son, Charles “Chuck” Couch; five grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
