Pamela H. (Collier) Richmond Yoder, 78, of Kokomo, Indiana went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 17, 2022. She was born July 8, 1944 to the late William H. Collier and Merial L. (Breeden) Davis in St. George, South Carolina.
She was a drum major in band and played basketball at St. George High School. She graduated in 1962, and then married Gary Richmond March 17, 1963. Together they had two children, Paula and Philip. On November 10, 1990, Pamela married Carl Yoder.
Pamela retired from Delco Electronics in '95 after 30 years. She was also a Sunday school teacher for many years.
She loved spending time with her grandkids, and watching them play sports. Pamela also attended the Abundant Life Church. She also had hobbies of her own including golfing, bowling, and going to the casino. Her family and friends will always remember her love for cooking and dancing.
Pamela is survived by her children Paula Richmond Rush and Philip Richmond (Nicole); step-children Mike Yoder (Tricia) and Lesly Yoder; her grandchildren Leslie Bashore, Timothy Nichols Jr., Trevor Richmond (Mamie), and Trey Richmond (Olivia); great grandchildren Mackenzie Bashore, Kaden Nichols, Isabella Bashore, Kaile Nichols, Kori Nichols, Dominik Bashore, Oakley Richmond and Emerson Richmond; step-grandchildren Blake Salinas, Ethan Salinas, and Logan Salinas; and brother Phillip Collier (Nancy). She also leaves behind her special friend Ed Williams.
In addition to her parents, Pamela was preceded in death by her husband Carl Yoder; her grandson Ethan Holley; step-grandchild Christopher Salinas, and her great granddaughter Kameron Nichols.
A visitation for Pamela will be held Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Gospel Light Mission Church, 1407 Belmont Ave, Kokomo, IN 46902, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Pamela's memory may be made to the family to cover funeral expenses.
