Milton "Rocky" Coleman, age 88, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021 with family by his side. Milton was born August 31, 1933 in Elkton, KY to Holland and Mary Frances (Fort) Coleman.
Milton was a Kokomo High School graduate and was a tool and die draftsman for General Electric and Naval Avionics both in Indianapolis. He served in the United State Army from 1954 till 1956. Milton was a member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church and loved to attend bible studies and was a part of the men's ministry . He loved watching old cowboy movies, drawing and studying the Bible. Milton held several track records through Kokomo High School that didn't get beat for many of years. He loved his family deeply and will be greatly missed by all.
Milton is survived by nieces Patricia Williamson, Selina (Shawn) Clark, A'sha Clark, Ariona Coleman, Neria Coleman, Natasha, Tiena, Caiah, Ceah and Asia, and Jessica Simmons. Nephews Troy Coleman, David (Nicolea) Coleman Jr., Shawn Clark II and Jeremiah, help raised a grandson; Kevin Adams. Milton was loved by many cousins and friends.
Milton was preceded in death by his parents; Holland and Mary Frances Coleman. 3 brothers Lige Coleman, David Coleman Sr. and Russell Coleman, Sister in law Margaret Coleman.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022 at Ellers Mortuary, 3400 Webster St with Pastor Otis Harris. Burial at 1pm at Marion National Cemetery with full military honors. Friends may visit with the family from 9 to 11 am on Wednesday at the funeral home.
