Millie Lavonda McKinney “Peachy”, 66, Converse, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013, in Marion General Hospital. She was born October 1, 1946, in Kentucky, to Oscar and Arminta (Bush) Hall. On June 29, 1963, she married John McKinney, and he preceded her in death on April 7, 2012.
She had worked at Syndicate Sales in Kokomo. She was a long time supporter of the March of Dimes and the American Lung Association.
She is survived by her sons, John Wayne (Regina) McKinney, Kokomo and James Richard McKinney, Kokomo; daughters, Marilyn (Jeff) Goff, Converse and Barbara (Mike) Yoke, Kokomo; nine grandchildren, Amanda (Dustin) Patton, Marina Bradley, Zachary Yoke, Daria Yoke, Deshea Goff, Stacey Goff, Sierra Yoke, Amanda Bagwell, and Josh Bagwell; two great-grandchild, Cienna Patton and Nevaeh Bradley; three brothers, Johnny (Virginia) Hall, Doyle Hall and Loyle (Mary Ann) Hall; and one sister, Ada Faye Walters.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
