In 1995, Mary was married to Max Stover, and he preceded her in death in 2013. Mary loved going shopping, her dogs, fishing, and spending time with (and spoiling) her grandkids. Her favorite vacation spot was in Guntersville, Alabama.
Mary was employed as an assembly worker at Chrysler for 30 years, retiring in 2004. She was also a member of the local UAW 685.
Mary is survived by 2 sons, Bob (Vicki) Rodgers, and Mike (Billie) Stover; 2 daughters, Robbin (Adam) Smith, and Jennifer (Michael) Ramey; 1 brother, Jim (Marlene) Dowden; 1 sister, Janet (Clifton) Hester; sisters-in-law, Lois Dowden and Rose Dowden; brothers-in-law, Paul Kail and Wayne Franklin; grandchildren, Misti Rodgers, Josh Rodgers, Ryan Austgen, Cassie Karney, Ethan Austgen, Bethany (Anthony) Ferguson, Jamie Wright, Madison Stover, Kaycee Stover, Hannah Smith, Kylun Scott, Brylee Boettjer, Jordyn Ramey, and Kynzie Ramey; great-grandchildren, Shailynn Ewing, Urijah Erb, Josiah Erb, Aaliyah Wright, and Mason Wright. She is also survived by her special friends, Barb Swanson and Linda Samuels, and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Allen Rodgers, a daughter, Lisa Austgen, brothers, Frank and Larry Dowden, and sisters, Waneta Martin, Wanda Stewart, Judy Franklin, and Rosalita Kail.
A public visitation for Mary will be held at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home in Kokomo on Monday, March 6th from 4-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 7th at 1 p.m., with a public visitation from 12-1.
