Mark Johnson, 60, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Mark was born on January 1, 1958 in Frankfort, Indiana to Norma Jean (Thurman) Johnson and the late Donald Charles Johnson.
Mark graduated from Catlin High School in Catlin, Illinois in 1976. In 1980, Mark enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served his country honorably for 4 years. He later found work at Chrysler in Kokomo and spent 15 years working in assembly.
Mark was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to music, mainly by The Beatles. He also liked finding new places to go out to eat and would always get excited about taking his friends and family to restaurants that he discovered. Most of all, Mark loved raising his three daughters and spending time with his granddaughter.
Mark is survived by his mother, Norma Jean Johnson; daughters, Karha (Eric) Rosson, Kaylani Johnson, and McKenzie Johnson; brother, Jay Johnson; granddaughter, McKenna Rosson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Donald Johnson, Mark was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Johnson.
Mark did not wish to have any services. Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
