Margaret Ruth Freed, 91, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away December 10, 2024. She was born on December 22, 1932 in Scott County, Indiana the daughter of Paul Revere and Minnie Avis (Patton) Cass. She retired from GM in 1992 after over 30 years of employment.
She loved to crochet, cross-stitch, and often framed her creations. Margaret canned the vegetables from her garden and tending to her flowers.
Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Mary Thurston, Betty Hale; brother, Robert (Sandy) Cass; nephews, James Thurston, Brian (Robin) Cass; nieces, Tracy Cass, Ann (Kip) Bergman.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Leroy Freed; brother, Donald (Waylen) Cass; brothers-in-law, Lee Thurston, Rex Hale.
Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Monday, December 16, 2024 at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM Monday, December 16, 2024 at 3400 S.
