It is with sadness that the family of Loletia Mae Sexton, 80, of Kokomo announces her passing on August 18, 2022. She was born August 5, 1942 in Kokomo to Claude & Delores Gamblin.
Loletia married and was with the love of her life, Roger Sexton, for 65 years until his passing. She loved spending time with her family, camping, crocheting, canning and cooking for her family. She retired from the Howard County Auditor’s office after 22 years and was a Sunday School Teacher for 30 years..
Loletia is survived by children Joetta (Terry) Ezell, Annetta (Joe) Farmer, Leetta (Tim) Dowden & Travis Sexton (Leah Leicht); grandchildren, Clyde (Christy) Davis III, Robbin (Heath) Ezell, Brandi (Bobby) Cox, Blane (Carla) Secrease, Teddy (Jessica) Secrease, Zachary (Laura) Farmer, Hilary (Matt) Wohlford, Valary Farmer, Bradley Dowden, Carley (Dylan) McNall, Kylie (Casey) Shue, Korey Sexton, 23 great grandchildren; sister Marti (Phil) Hinnenkamp; brothers Tim (Sandra) Gamblin & Jerry (Joann) Gamblin.
Loletia is preceded in death by her loving husband Roger; daughter Rogetta (Sexton) Secrease; parents, Claude & Delores Gamblin; brother Robert (Bob) Gamblin & their beloved dog Matty.
Visitation for Loletia will be Thursday August 25th from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at Ellers Mortuary, 3400 S. Webster St., Kokomo. Funeral services will be Friday August 26th at 11:00 am at the Mortuary.
Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Pastor Jeff Harlow will officiate.
