Joan Rita Spencer, 90, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away September 24, 2023. She was born on August 30, 1933 the daughter of Clarence and Jean Cornwell. Joan married Kenneth "Spence" Spencer Jr. November 21, 1953. Joan loved taking care of her family. She also loved her two faithful companions, Chico and Gibson. She was a lifetime member of St. Joan of Arc in Kokomo.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cheriee (Pat) Fleming, Stacey (Stephen) Smith, Michelle (Brian) Rawlings; Eric (Ashley) Fleming, Eli Fleming, Ryan (Emily Ewing) Vawter, Jacob (Amberlee) Davis, Raime (Armon Bridgeforth) Rawlings, Brian (Sydney Record) Rawlings II; great-grandchildren, Boden, Degan and Cadmin Fleming, Ethan, Hannah and Abby Vawter, Bell and A.J. Ewing, A.J. and Layna Bridgeforth.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Kenneth "Spence" Spencer Jr.; parents; sisters, Mary Krestakos, Katherine Auten.
