The family of Joan Patricia Hooper announces her passing on November 20, 2022 at the age of 73. She was born in Philadelphia, PA March 9, 1949 to Paul and Mary Dougherty.
Joan loved her family, camping, trips to Florida with Alan, walking, and dogs. She had dogs throughout her life and leaves behind Scooter. Joan was a woman of faith attending Calvary Church in Pennsylvania and Abundant Life Church in Kokomo.
Joan is survived by her husband, Alan Hooper; sons, Andrew L. Hooper & Patrick A. Hooper; grandson Andrew J. Hooper; sisters-in-law Belva Likens, Sherry Ward, Mona Carver, Lisa Sawyer & Jane King; brother-in-law Glen Hooper and several nieces & nephews.
Joan is preceded in death by her parents Paul & Mary and brother-in-law Bing Hooper.
Funeral services will be Friday November 25, 2022 at 1:00 pm with visitation starting at 11:00 am at Ellers Mortuary, 725 S. Main St., Kokomo. Service will conclude in Ellers Chapel. Pastor Matt Eckart will officiate.
