Jerry Arthur Smith, 66, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on February 5, 2025. He was born on October 18, 1958 in Tipton, Indiana the son of Charles and Viola (Bush) Ryan. He married Marcia (Barlow) Smith who survives. Jerry proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, Air Force, and Army National Guard. Jerry worked at Chrysler as a Machine Repairman for 28 years before retiring on December 1, 2024 and was a member of UAW #685. He enjoyed fishing with his grandsons and coaching baseball.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 42 years, Marcia; children, Adam (Alyx) Smith, Derek (Katie) Smith; grandchildren, Callen and Caden; mother, Viola; sisters, Carol (Scot) Tracey, Julie (Bud) Massey.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father; grandson, Carson.
Visitation will take place from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am Monday, February 10, 2025 at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center 3400 S. Webster Street Kokomo, Indiana 46902.
