Jerry Lee Smith

Jerry will forever be remembered as a man who loved his family and friends dearly, a man who had the inability of saying no in helping anyone for anything. Jerry loved to fish, play pool, go bowling, and take on side projects of everyone else's just to help out. Jerry worked at Kokomo Sanitary Pottery for 34 years and had retired, just to work another 13 years at Frito Lay to retire again.

He is survived by his children; Jerry Lee Smith Jr, Angel Christine Hornbeck, Joshua Lee Smith, and Jocelyn Jolene Smith. Daughter-in-law; Christy Sue Smith and Son-in-law; Jeremy Hornbeck, grandchildren; Dalton Smith, Michayah Smith, Mylie Smith, Taylor Hornbeck, Rylee Hornbeck, Lila Smith, siblings; Marilyn & Jim Berry, Danny & Bob Smith, Anthony Dwayne Smith, Vivian Arnold, Shawn & Amy Smith

He was preceded in death by his parents; Robert & Melba Smith and siblings; Robert Michael Smith and Brian Scott Smith.

A visitation for Jerry will be held Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary & Crematory Center, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greentown.
