Jerry Earl Nelson

He graduated from Kokomo High School. He then went to work for General Motors, retiring after 30 years. Jerry was a talented musician. He played bass in the band he had with his family for over 40 years. He loved to restore old cars and enjoyed fishing. Jerry was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Kokomo. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and children.

Those surviving Jerry is his son Jerry B. Nelson, daughter Tamara M. Nelson, sisters Louise Evans, Mary Lou Stroud and Margie Coy, and granddaughter Megan Eddington.

Preceding him in death are his parents, and brothers, Jim, Jack, Bill, Bob and Dave Nelson.

Funeral services for Jerry will take place at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Saturday June 15, 2019 at 12:00pm with Pastor Terry Russell officiating. There will be a one hour visitation prior from 11am to noon. All are welcome to the burial on Monday June 17, 2019 at 10:00am at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
