Janet Ruth Horn

Janet Ruth Horn, 78, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away April 12, 2025. She was born on October 14, 1946 in Mitchell, Indiana the daughter of Cecil Williams and Helen (Connell) Williams. She married Jerome "Jerry" Horn June 21, 1979 who survives.

Janet was a nursing aide for many years. She was an avid painter and painted beautiful pastel paintings. Janet enjoyed doing yard work and decorating. Most of all she loved visiting family and especially her grandchildren. Janet became an avid Facebook user and spent many hours a day keeping in contact with various friends that she had met in the six different states she had lived in. Janet loved people and she was able to bring cheer and happiness to everyone she came into contact with. During the time spent supporting her husband in his career she met and made friends with so many individuals. She was able to maintain contact with many of those people through her Facebook activity.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Jerry; children, Thomas Pridemore, Joy Upton and Jered Horn; grandchildren, Hayley Unger, Clayton Unger, Gideon Horn, Josiah Horn, Damaris Horn, Joseph David Williams, Nathan Williams; great-grandchildren, Hudson Unger and Oliver Unger; sister, Sharon Kirk; brother, Joe Williams.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Williams; daughter, Shawna Williams.
