OBITUARY
James Riddle
May 5, 1930 – January 11, 2022
IN THE CARE OF
Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center
James married his love, Georgia (Easter) whom he was with for 62 years until her passing.
James was a Jack of all Trades of which he owned and operated a construction company and auto body shop. He started the Kokomo Boat Club, enjoyed going to different lakes for the adventure and was known for teaching people how to ski. He enjoyed going to casinos and challenging himself to learn different skills. James altered his birth certificate to join the Navy at 14 years old. After almost a year the Navy realized his actual age and upon him being discharged he joined the Army where finished his tour of duty.
James is survived by his sons, James (Elaine) Riddle & Brian Riddle; daughter, Moreen (John) Reynolds; brother John Riddle; sister-n-law Jean Collins; 12 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 16 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
James is preceded in death by his parents, James & Linnie Riddle; wife Georgia Riddle; son, Mark Riddle; 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Services for James will be Wednesday January 19, 2022 11:00am at Ellers Mortuary 3400 S. Webster St. Kokomo and will coincide with his Son’s, Mark Riddle, who passed away January 9, 2022.
Visitation for James and Mark will be Tuesday January 18, 2022 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at the Mortuary.
