James Nathaniel Brown

Dr. James N Brown, 99, of Kokomo, IN passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023. Dr. Brown was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elva. He loved his family and is survived by his daughter Pam, grandsons Jim and Mike, and 4 great grandchildren. Dr. Brown cared deeply for the Kokomo community and served it by providing affordable chiropractic care for nearly 70 years. During this time, he had the opportunity to take care of 4 and 5 generations of the same families. His degrees in chiropractic’s were earned from both Palmer and Logan Basic. He was instrumental in helping get chiropractic’s licensed in the state of Indiana. Dr. Brown was a veteran of World War II, serving proudly with the Army in the South Pacific. His first priority was his faith in Jesus Christ. He lived as an example of his faith by helping, mentoring and sharing the love of Christ with others. He also enjoyed golf, fishing, and spending time with his family. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 11th.
