Jackie "Jack" Edward Myers, age 85, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021. Jackie was born November 24, 1936 in Maynardville, TN to Whitten and Goldie (Keys) Myers. He married Neva M. Fannon and she passed away on June 26, 2013.
Loved to watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Jack served in the United States Navy from July of 1955 until June of 1959. He worked at Stellite and then retired from C & R Metals in Peru. Jack loved to be around people and never met a stranger. Some of his favorite places to visit were the Markland Mall and Hardees.
Survivors include three sons, Wes Sturgell (Anna), Keith Myers, and Lyle Myers (Alisha); two daughters, Kelly Sarver, and Jackie Myers; 16 grandchildren, Josh Ray (Lindsey), Chad Myers (Marissa), Kelsey Myers, Brandi Kinney (Jake), Harlan Myers, Brittnee Smith (Aaron), Brock Earnheart, Brooklyn Earnheart, Breigh-Anne Hewitt (Alec), Katie Mossholder, Angaleta Double, Miranda Sturgell, Joseph Sturgell, Melissa Isenhower (Kelsey), Donna Rossman (Jim), and Charles Sarver (Kiley); 29 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild, brother, Cloyd Myers; along with several nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents Whitten and Goldie Myers, and a son, Tim Raines; brother, Bill Myers; sisters in-law Nancy Myers, Rhonda Myers; and son in-law Charlie Sarver.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Ellers Mortuary at 725 S. Main St with Pastor Kenny Cole officiating. Burial will follow at South Union Cemetery with Military Honors. Friends may visit with the family from 1 to 5 pm on Sunday at Ellers Mortuary.
