Herman Lee "Boog" Suttles

Boog was preceded in death by his grandmother Bessie Suttles, 3 brothers Clarence, Jim, and Bobby Suttles; 3 sisters Irene Jenkins, Aileen Thacker, and Azalee Smith; son-in-law John Vann; grandson Micheal Vann, and niece Sabrina Blanton.

Surviving are his wife and love of his life Cynthia whom he married August 10th, 1972 in Middlesboro, KY, children Lee (Starlet) Suttles, Tonya Vann, Crystal (Joe) Acker, Jennifer (Doug) Foster, Tammara (Jason) Suttles , Steven (Gabby) Suttles, James (Chelsea) Carpenter; brother’s Hank (Katie) Suttles, Gerald Bandy, and sister Suzie Wright. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

From the early age of nine years old he began working in the coal mines in Kentucky. He enjoyed mushroom hunting and breathing in the fresh air. Boog was always there for his family to ensure they were always ok. He was a long time member of Southside Apostolic Church.

Services will be held Thursday December 22nd, 2016 at 1:00pm with Visitation from 11:00am all located Ellers Mortuary Main with interment at Greenlawn Cemetery.
