Helen E. Sisovsky Morrow, 99, passed away on October 19, 2017 at her home. Helen was born on February 1, 1918 in Detroit, Michigan to Paul P. and Anna R. (Blazey) Sisovsky. She married Charles L. Morrow on April 29, 1944 and he preceded her in passing on November 28, 1995.
Helen was a member of St. Patrick Church, involved in the Alter and Rosary Society. She was also a member of UAW Local 292, and the Kokomo Senior Citizens. Helen was a very good cook. She liked to play Bingo and enjoyed traveling. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren.
Helen is survived by Deacon Ronald L. (Rita) Morrow of Kokomo, Richard C. (Rose) Morrow of Kokomo, and Diane (Rick) Morrow Ash of Miami, FL; grandchildren David (Pam) Morrow, Brian (Heather) Morrow, Scott Morrow, Kevin (Teena) Morrow, Steven (Jenny) Morrow, all of Kokomo, Stephanie (Tim) Zwiefelhofer of Westfield, Jason (Natalie) Morrow of Noblesville, Karen (Michael) Ellis of Burlington, IN, Towana (Andrew) Smith, of Tuttle, OK, Monica Detter of Chesterton, IN, Mary Ellen James (Chris Sadler) of Kokomo, and Whitney Ash of Miami, FL; great-grandchildren Hannah, Rachel, Adam, Olivia, Alex, Jacob, Ryan, Isabel, Joshua, Abigail, Emily, Bradley, Leah, Gavin, Lauren, and Ryker Morrow, Makayla, Annalese, Sam, Katelynn, Quentin, Trinity, and Blaise Ellis, Ashleigh Miller, Hunter Hinkle, Haden Hinkle, Dylan James, Theodore James, and William Huttig; great great grandchildren Paden Ferguson, and Hadley Miller; and many nieces and nephews.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Charles; siblings Anne, Christine, Mary, Steve, Joseph, Frank, John, and Charles, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may call on Monday, October 23 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 24 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, celebrated by Father Brian Dudzinski, with visitation held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Helen will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Garden. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Monastery of the Poor Clares of Kokomo.
