Helen Viola Hightower, 93, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 7th in Kokomo. She was born on September 17, 1924 to the late Ed and Omi Williams in Alton,Georgia.
Helen retired from Delco Electronics in Kokomo after working there for 30 years. Following retirement, she spent five years working as a greeter at Burger King. Helen really enjoyed keeping plants and flowers around her home. She was also very skilled in sewing, and would make Cabbage Patch dolls and quilts for those that she loved.
Helen is survived by her sons, Steve E.Hightower and Alfred Lee Hightower, and her daughter, Nancy (Dave) Soden. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, Helen was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Kay.
There will be a private family service for Helen at a later date.
