Hazel L. Burton, 87, passed away on January 6, 2018 at Community Howard Hospital in Kokomo. Hazel was born to Lora and Nanie (McElroy) Burton in Adair Kentucky on February 13, 1930. She married William Paul Burton June 4, 1949. She now joins him with their Heavenly Father.
Hazel enjoyed gardening and most of all; spending time with her grandkids and family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Hazel is survived by son; Rick Burton (Leigh Ann), one sister; Nina Coombs, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Hazel in death are her husband William, seven brothers and five sisters.
Family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday January 11th at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, with services to follow at 2:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Robert Bogue and Jeff Sermons. Burial will take place at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
