Gwendolyn M. Kidwell, 85, Kokomo, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2011, at her daughter’s home. She was born November 4, 1925, in Indianapolis, to Roy and Francis (Locke) Wilson. In 1950, she married Floyd Jay Kidwell, and he preceded her in death on November 29, 1975.
She is survived by three daughters, Pam (John) Morgan, Linda (Otis) Games, and Diana Streeter; three sons, Floyd (Phyllis) Kidwell, George Kidwell; and David Henry; twenty grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jim Kidwell; four brothers; and one sister.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Chaplain Joyce Brooks officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
