Frederick Lee Holder

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Jean (Knight) Holder; son, Dennis Holder; partner, Beatrice Jones; his parents, brothers LeRoy and Robert, sisters Jean Bouse and Mildred Mitchell; nephew, Don Knight; sister-in-law, Sadie Holder.

He is survived by three grandchildren, Dennis Holder, Jr. (wife Shawn) of San Diego, CA; Joel Holder (wife Tanya) of Leesburg, IN; Sarah Freeman (husband Jeb) of Milford, IN; seven great grandchildren and one step great grandson, Kyle, Leah, Brendan, Makayla, Natalya, Jaqlynn, Heatherlynn and Marshall; and nieces and nephews.

Fred retired from Delco Electronics in 1980 with 34 years of service. He is a 32nd Mason with membership in Howard Lodge #93 of Kokomo and the Scottish Rite and Shrine of Fort Myers, FL. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge #1288 in Fort Myers, FL. He was a Sergeant in the army for three years during World War II with duty in Africa, Italy, France and Germany.

He is a member of Messiah Lutheran Church (ELCA) of North Fort Myers, FL.

Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Visitation will continue at the funeral home from 11:00 am Friday, January 6, 2023 until the start of funeral services at 1:00 pm.
