Emily was born in Modesto, California, and was just four years old when she moved to Indiana. She learned that she loved the snow, often refusing to come, in long after her brother was ready to do so. She loved fishing with her daddy at the pond, swinging "so high" on her horsey swing in the back yard, and riding her carousel ponies when ever she happened to spot one. She could spot a McDonalds from 10 miles away, often signing a "heart" instead of the golden arches to plead her case for some fries. Ponies and French fries...a winning combination.
Emily was a brave warrior princess. She lived a life with Sanfilippo Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder. It didn't matter to her the limitations placed upon her body, for she was feisty, spunky, ornery and all together the sweetest soul all wrapped up in one teeny tiny little package. And when it was said and done, per Emily's style, she did not go down letting MPS win. Such a brave little soul. She would not let MPS have the last word.
Emily won the hearts of friends and family worldwide. Her daily antics recorded on facebook left everyone with a smile on their face. In her passing, she left behind full hearts and amazing memories. Her family, sisters Savannah and Fallon, her brothers Ryan and Shane, and her parents Keith and Angela will never ever forget such a radiant beauty. Debbie and Nanci, extended family and extra hands for mom, will never be forgotten, for they treated Emily as their own.
Sunday February 17th, 2019 between 5pm and 8pm friends and family may visit at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel. A Celebration of Emily's life will take place Monday morning at 10:00am at the mortuary.
