Donna Marie Thompson, 57, passed away on July 1, 2017. She was born to Lloyd Thompson Sr. and Rosie Abney on March 31, 1960 in Kokomo. Donna loved her family very much. In her life, friends and family always came first. She was an incredibly giving person, never expecting anything in return. She was a strong woman of faith, and also enjoyed a drink of whiskey now and then. She loved country music, and was a country girl. She will be missed.
Donna leaves behind her mother, Rosie Abney; sons David (Paola) Glassburn and Mike (Jemma) Glassburn; grandchildren Jacob, Madyson, Eleanor, Jude, and Maxwell Glassburn; siblings Lloyd (Kelly) Thompson Jr. of Galveston, Indiana, John (Wyndi) Thompson of Kempton, Indiana, and Shawn Ploss, of Magnolia, Texas.
Donna is preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Thompson Sr..
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m.
