Cheryl Ann (Harmon) Miller, 53, of Kokomo passed away October 8, 2018. She was born December 14, 1964 in Tipton, Indiana to Joe and Beverly (Harshbarger) Harmon.
From a young age, Cheryl loved to tumble and cheer. She cheered for Taylor High School in Kokomo, Indiana where she was also a part of the gymnastics program. After high school Cheryl went on to coach and mentor other children all across central Indiana; this was her passion and she cared deeply for all the kids she coached. Cheryl also had many hobbies, such as gardening, going to concerts, the national drag races and her dogs. She was a member of Crossroads Community Church and attended as often as she could. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her husband, she loved being a mom and was looking forward to the birth of her first granddaughter.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Bart Miller; parents, Joe and Beverly Harmon; brother, Mike (Betty) Harmon; sisters, Patricia Harmon (Kevin Rutherford) and Jeanette Harmon; daughters, Dara (Eric) Clem and Mandy (Joshua) Fitzberger; granddaughter, Mia; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, October 10 from 5-8pm at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo, IN, and again at 10am Thursday, October 11 with service to follow at 11am, also at Sunset Memory Garden. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pals for Paws, Inc., 268 East Alto Road, Kokomo, IN 46902.
