Charles H Moffatt

Charles H. Moffatt, 95, moved to his Heavenly home on June 7, 2018. He was born in Hoopeston, IL to Joseph H. and Laura (Allen) Moffatt on March 28, 1923. In January of 1989, Mr. Moffatt retired from Chrysler after 35 years from Department 88 as an Instrument Man. He attended First Church of the Nazarene, and was a member of the Moose and Eagles Lodges.

Mr. Moffatt is survived by his son, Joseph A. (wife Darlene) Moffatt of Kokomo; granddaughters: Meagan Moffatt of Jackson, MS, Melissa (husband Justin) McNall of Fishers, and Kristen (husband Joshua) DeLoddere; great grandchildren: Ethan, Olivia and Brayden McNall, Ali, Brody and Cameron DeLoddere. Mr. Moffatt is preceded in death by his first wife, Marcia (Poff) Moffatt, second wife, Mary (Saylers) Moffatt, third wife, Mildred (Snowden) Moffatt. In addition to his wives and parents, Mr. Moffatt was preceded in death by his siblings: Raymond Moffatt, Geneva Nelson, Marie Grigsby, Maxine Chumbley, Betty Miller, Josephine Helm, Norma "Pete" Bell, and Mary Abell.

Funeral services for Mr. Moffatt will be held at 11:00 AM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to First Church of the Nazarene, St. Vincent Home Health and Hospice or a charity of your choice.
