Carolyn Jean Murphy, 87, of Kokomo, IN passed away on December 27, 2020 at Waterford Place Health Campus. She was born on January 16, 1933 to Elmer and Bertha (Redding) Parker in Hartford City. Carolyn was a teacher at Northwestern for 17 years. After retiring she spent winter months in Florida. She enjoyed traveling, golfing, and kept a daily diary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carey; daughters, Brenda Heaton and Linda Murphy.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Brian (Susy) Murphy, Lee Ann (Kirk) Smith, Linda Kistler (Linda Murphy's Companion); grandchildren, Andy Heaton, Matt Heaton, Jacob Murphy, Erin (Murphy) Domokos, Emily Smith, Bradford Smith; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Gracie, Lilly and Wilson Heaton, Bostyn and Bristol Murphy, David Domokos, and Magnolia Smith.
