Becky J Pohlman

Becky J. Pohlman, 73, of Kokomo, passed away at 10:50 AM Monday May 15, 2017 at Golden Living Center, Kokomo. Born May 18, 1943 in Kokomo, she was the daughter of the late Sherman B. Steenman and Margaret L. (Greer) Steenman. On January 30, 1966 in Kokomo, she married Ronald Edwin Pohlman. He preceded her in death on July 17, 1993. She was the kitchen supervisor at Northwestern High School for 33 years, retiring in 2015 after 35 years of service. Along with cooking, she enjoyed gardening and flowers; also going to her grandchildren’s sporting events.

Survivors include two sons Brian (Michele) Pohlman of Kokomo and Michael (Kathy) Pohlman of Peru; a daughter Linda Terrell of Kokomo; one brother Dennis Steenman of Kokomo; one sister Susan Dickason of Marion, Ohio; ten grandchildren Staci (Keith) Kennedy, Autumn (Matt) Kelley, Harley Pohlman, Ruby Terrell, Mia Terrell, Angel Pohlman, Lilly Pohlman, Shae Worl, Kasey Worl, and Rilee Worl; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Saturday May 20, 2017 at North Union Cemetery, 4300 N. C.R. 800 West, Kokomo, Indiana. Pastor Tom Ludwig will officiate. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo.
