Wilma S. Phillips

WILMA S. PHILLIPS age 92 of Knoxville, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013 at Tennova Residential Hospice. She was a faithful and very active member of Valley Grove Baptist Church since 1957 where she taught Sunday School. Preceded in death by husband, James C. Phillips. Survived by sister, Edna Jenkins of Knoxville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bud and Wilma Phillips of OR and Earnest and Lucille Phillips of N.C.; nephew and caregiver, Roger Phillips and wife, Grace; several other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Monday at Weaver’s Chapel with the service to follow at 7 pm with Reverends Tony Maples and Austin Moore officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:15 am Tuesday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for an 11:30 am interment.
