William “Bill” Webster 82 years old, would like to let you know that his work here is done. Bill went home to be with his Heavenly Father on May 18, 2017. As someone that came from a family of ten children, he was raised with a deep appreciation of family. He was a long time member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and cherished his church family. As a graduate of the University of Tennessee he had a love of everything UT with a heart that bled orange. After 21 years of dedicated service in The United States Army, he retired as a Master Sergeant. While in the army he met his lifelong love Barbara, whom he later married and had 2 children. He later retired from Martin Marietta Y12 with a career in Human Resources. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, his parents Paris and Myrtle Webster, his sisters Eunice Webster, Kathleen Muller, his brothers Warren R., James Guthrie, John K, Roy Eugene and Ronald A. Webster. Survived by his son Donald Webster, his daughter Stacie Preston, his grandchildren Addison and Leyton Preston, his sisters Anne Charamella and Patricia Cunningham, and numerous nieces and nephews. We would like to give a special Thank You to his caregivers Lorna Peterson, Lisa Andes and Kisha Battle. Visitation will be held at Ebenezer United Methodist Church on Monday May 22, 2017 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm with a funeral service to follow. Burial will be on Tuesday May 23, 2017 at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery at 11:00am.
