Jean, I  just learned about Bill and want you to know that I care and hope you are doing alright.  He and David are probably laughing and having fun together.  I can just hear David when he sees Bill saying well hey there wild bill, good to see you. Know that you are in my prayers and I will call you when things settle a bit. I have fond memories of Bill and your family while growing up with your children in the youth programs at Wallace Memorial and many visits to your home during those years.  Bill had a big influence on my life and, along with my own father, was one of the other key father-figures who provided guidance and direction to me during those formative years.  Although I regret the circumstances, it was good to see you all together again and to have the opportunity to meet the rest of your family earlier this evening.  You all will remain in my thoughts and prayers and, from what I heard and observed during the receiving of friends, you have a loving family to support each other during this difficult time.

I am very sorry for your lose of a man who I loved dearly!  I enjoyed seeing his smiling face when I attended Wallace Memorial, and had the great delight of playing golf with Bill and Fred Lay (Now that was a treat)!  Please know that you will all be in our prayers during this time of sorrow, but thanks be to the Lord Jesus Christ, that we do not grief as those who have no hope!  Bill is Home with His Father!  Praise the Lord!!!

Jean, I am so sorry to hear about Bill. Bill & I always worked good together, I guess because even as a Red Head, He didn't have much of a temper, mine was always worse than his. Every time I think of Bill, which is often, my heart is blessed.  I had the privilege of working with Bill when he and I would help my dad with a plumbing job when he needed extra brains and muscle.   Bill always told me he was supplying the brains.
