William Brice Gilmer

William Brice Gilmer, 67, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on March 28, 2024, in his hometown. Brice was born on May 19, 1956, to loving parents James and Beverly (Bibee) Gilmer. He also leaves behind his brothers Jim, of Rockville, Maryland, and David, of Townsend, Tennessee. Brice will also be missed by his extended family of cousins.

In his youth, Brice enjoyed family outings, including camping, hiking, and beach vacations. Throughout his life, he developed a passion for cooking and entertaining, and hosted a family Open House every Christmas. He also enjoyed gardening, bird watching, singing, and investing in the stock market. His love for pets brought joy and companionship into his home. He held an Associate Degree in Business Administration.
Brice was a valued member of the 2nd Presbyterian Church, where he found solace and community.

A memorial service will be held for family and friends at 2nd Presbyterian Church, 2829 Kingston Pike on Friday, April 5 at 11:00 A.M., followed by receiving of friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the West Knox FISH Pantry, 934 N. Weisgarber Road, Knoxville, TN 37919, to 2nd Presbyterian Church, 2829 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN, or to your favorite charity.
