William "Bill" Richard Snyder

William (Bill) Richard Snyder, age 84, of Knoxville, TN died in his sleep at home on August 18, 2014. He is a veteran having served in the US Army. He worked for 40 years in Automotive Quality Control. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles Edgar and Blanche Marie Dillon Snyder, brother Robert Snyder, sisters Anne Boze, Alice Schneider and Etta Louise Hart. He is survived by his Wife-Marilyn June Lewis Floyd Snyder, Sons-Jim Snyder (Joyce), Jeff Snyder (Candy), Daughters-Sherrye Floyd Woodall (Gregg), Terrie Floyd Owens (Scott), Grandchildren-Stephanie, Tiffany, Benjamin, Jonathan, Kristen, Laura Beth, Taylor, Lauren, Bethany, Jarrett, Stacee, and Samantha, Great Grandchildren-Wrigley, Walton, Adalynn, Brooklynn, Carrigan and Jude, Sister-Marjorie Morris. Receiving of friends will be on Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Karns Church of Christ followed by a funeral service, officiated by Steve Higginbotham. There will be a graveside service on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Highland West cemetery on Sherrill Lane, officiated by James Meadows.
