Walter Grant Coleman, of Seymour, severed the bonds of earth and gone to be with his Heavenly Father on July 12, 2017 at the age of 75. Grant was a faithful servant of the Lord throughout his life, a devoted husband and father, and compassionate and generous servant to others less fortunate. Grant retired in 2014 as owner and president of his own business Enviro-Tech Services, inc., of Sevier County for the past 25 years, a leader in termite and Pest Control and Environmental Engineering.
Prior to his personal business ventures, he overcame a childhood of poverty excelling in upper management positions with several international companies including Consolidated Gold Fields, Standard Oil of Indiana, U.S. Borax and Chemical Company, Tesoro Petroleum and others. He was a Master Mason with the F&AM Lodge no. 338, at Adamsville, TN since 1989, and was an Accredited Personnel Professional with multiple industry wide achievements.
Grant was born April 17, 1942 in the state of West Virginia, and was preceded in death by his earthly father, Harry a retired coal miner, and mother Vernie of Oak Hill WV. Grant loved and dedicated his life to the Lord, his wife, family and others. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Shelby of 55 years, one son Grant Jr. and daughter-in-law Elizabeth of Whitwell, TN, one daughter Christine Heard and son-in-law Terry of Seymour, three grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several step grandchildren.
