VIRGINIA RUTH SMITH age 90 of Knoxville, passed away Friday, October 5, 2012 at Autumn Care Assisted Living. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Lloyd V. Smith and William Smith; parents, Ora and Adele Burch; sister, Gladys Burch; grandson, Jeff Smith. She is survived by her children, Michael Smith, Edie Underwood, Denise Sharp, Scott Smith and Blake Smith; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. There will be a Celebration of Life Service held at 6 pm Wednesday, October 10th at Weaver’s Chapel in Knoxville, TN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.
