Turner James Nicely, age 23, went to be with Jesus Saturday, November 10, 2018. He was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church and an employee of Custom Flooring. He was a 2013 graduate of Carter High School. Turner was preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Nicely and Bob Turner. He is survived by the love of his life, Rachael Coffey and her parents, Tim Coffey and Teresa Henry; his children, Zayne Michael and Kairi Jane Nicely; mother, Lora Nicely; father and step-mother, James and Lisa Nicely; sisters, Emery Nicely and Cessly Turner; step-brothers, Richie Bailey and Nick Nicely; step-sister, Kendra Nicely; grandmothers, Bonnie “Mimi” Turner and Ardeena “Nana” Rairigh; aunts and uncles, Mark and Teresa Turner and Steve and Julie Wolfenbarger; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members. Family will receive friends Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the chapel of McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home, Asheville Highway with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM, Rev. Tony Earl officiating. Family and friends will meet at Old Salem Cemetery, Wayland Road on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 1:00 PM for the interment.
