Trula Mae Thompson

Trula Mae Thompson, age 88 of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Island Homes Park Health & Rehab. Trula enjoyed gardening, canning, and was known for her chocolate and caramel candies. Trula loved reading God's word and enjoyed watching TV.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Earl Thompson; parents, William H. Elkins, Cordie Elkins; sisters, Frances Elkins, Juanita Roach, Ruby Ford and brother, Harvey Elkins.

She is survived by her niece, Barbara Hobbs and great-niece, Paula Key. The family would like to thank the staff at Island Homes Park Health & Rehab for the loving care they provided Trula.

The family will be having a call at convenience visitation on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 12:00pm-5:00pm at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920. The family will meet at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 9711 Cedar Grove Church Rd. Powell, Tennessee 37849 for a 1:00pm Graveside Service on Friday, December 14, 2018.
