Thanks for all of the kind words about dad. It is nice to hear from his old friends and co-workers, as well as friends of ours.

Tommy Joe was a great friend, we grew up together in Newcomb TN, lived by him and Mary in Oak Ridge and worked with  him at Oak Ridge Hospital. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Joe and Tony, your Dad and Mom were wonderful, kind people and I am so fortunate to have known them growing up.  Thinking about you both at this time.

We will miss you sooo very much Tom :,( you were one of whom made the heart of echoridge it was a blessing to sit on break and talk to you! And now its so much different not seeing you sit in your chair every time i walk by...i keep telling myself you are in a better place but it still hurts! We love and will continue to miss you so very much RIP

I enjoyed our afternoon refreshments at Echo Ridge and our talks down memory lane. He was very passionate to our residents.

Tommie, Boyd and I are sadden by your passing. We have been friends for many years now and love all of you. Tony and Joe were two of our favorites at Solway Methodist Church and followed them through school. You and Mary were wonderful parents and dear friends. You will be missed by many. Dear Joe & Tony:  It's been a long time since we have seen any of you, but we hope and pray that you and your extended families are all doing as well as possible during this time.  This is certainly a sad time, but hopefully you will feel the joy in knowing that your Dad is now with our LORD and your Mom in the place that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ had prepared for him and all of us. Joe, Anne and Hannah,

We are so sorry about Tom. I loved watching him at Hannah's game a few weeks ago, he was beaming with pride. He was such a dedicated dad and grandfather. We will all miss him so much.

Childhood friends from Newcomb with great memories to find in later years for both to have grandchildren in the same school.  Libby and I can fill the void caused by this loss with those life long memories.  Our prayers and thoughts are with the family.

   Joe and Tony, we are cousins but you two are the closest thing I have to brothers.  All my memories from the summers at Grannies have Uncle Tom and Aunt Mary , animals and you both indelibly mixed in to them. I will miss your Dad and his stories! I love you all.

We are so sorry for the loss of Tom. Sara so enjoyed serving him his meals at Echo Ridge and I got the chance to get to know him and sit out on on the front porch in the rockers and talk with him. Our prayer is that God will be with you in this difficult time and help you get through it.

Joe and Tony, sorry to hear about your dad passing. Worked with him many years and remember you boys coming to the laboratory. You two were his pride and joy. Will always remember his love for dogs and Gentleman Jim. Always thought about Tom every time I went through Solway. I know he is rejoicing now to be with Mary. May God give you both comfort during this time.

Sure gonna miss this Fine Gentleman!  Such a pleasure to talk with him each time he came into the office.  GOD BlESS You during this walk of grief and transition!

Joe and Tony -- so sorry for your loss. Tom was a great teacher at the hospital and his knowledge of hematology was shared unselfishly and so much fun to be around. He's gone on to be with Oral, Ben, Carol and Dr. Carabia. He will be missed.
