Tommy Davis, age 83, of Knoxville, TN, slipped quietly into Eternity on April 25, 2020 at Parkwest Medical Center. He was a member of the Maryville Church of God. After twenty years of service to his country, he retired from he United States Air Force. Tommy then moved to a position at Y-12 Nuclear Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN, where he retired after 23 years of service.
Tommy was met at the gates of Eternity with the open arms of his parents, Clyde and Mary Davis; sister, Wilma Jean Davis; son, Timothy "Timmy" Henderson; and grandson, Terry Johnson. He leaves behind to cherish and carry on his legacy, his loving and devoted wife, Francis Davis; daughters, Toletha Davis, Ynese Davis, Mary Davis, Karen Davis; brother, Charles "Skinny" (Laura-Kate) Davis; sister, Shirley Davis Robinson; grandchildren, Chrishane (Carlos) Mahone, Tilmer "TJ" Johnson, Dominique Davis, and Allie Nicholson; great-grandchildren, Jarius, Silas, Brooklyn, Terraruice, Tilmias, Tilmya, Treylen, Taysia, Emory, Jhoniya, and Michael "Bubba"; great-grandchild, Jonah; special brother-in-law, Willie Banks, and sister-in-law, Mary-Ann Black.
One thing is certain, Tommy will surely be missed by all who knew and loved him. Open calling hours will be on Friday, May 1, 2020 from 11 AM to 1:00 OM at Berry Highland South Funeral Home, with a private funeral service to be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Charlie Lynch officiating.
