On Friday, July 20, 2018, Tim Williams passed peacefully to Eternity after a v-fib event and anoxic brain injury. Tim’s priorities were faith, family, career, and community. Tim reflected those values daily as he went about life. Tim had a strong faith in Jesus and knew that God was leading his steps. Tim and Rebecca Wanamaker Williams, his wife of 20 years, have three treasured children. Tim was a great partner and made sure that Rebecca consistently felt loved and cherished. Their children (Meredith -12, Amelia -11, & Victoria – 9) were a source of joy, amazement, and purpose, and they miss their daddy. Tim is the son of Larry & Janice Williams of Cary, NC who are proud of the man Tim became and the legacy he leaves. Tim has three sisters he loved (Andrea Williams, Bobbie Gill, & Kellie Williams) who will miss the wet willies he faithfully gave them. Tim was a senior manager at Pilot Flying J. His greatest enjoyment at work was helping the people around him be successful at their jobs. He previously worked with Scripps (SNI), PerfectServe, and Dana. Tim enjoyed being involved in organizations that serve people locally, and local church involvement was important to him. He previously served at Tecumseh Assembly of God and Freedom House Church, and was currently attending Park West Church. Tim was a great friend to many people and was good at building and maintaining relationships. His influence and impact on the world has a broad reach. Tim will be greatly missed by the people whose lives he touched, but there is comfort in knowing that he is in the presence of God and is whole once again. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 4 to 7 pm at Park West Church. Funeral Services will begin at 7 pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to Tim’s daughters’ education fund. Checks can be made to TD Ameritrade College Savings Plan with Timothy D. Williams in the memo line. Contact Joe Wanamaker for additional information (734-223-3630). Condolences may be shared with the family at www.BerryHighlandWest.com.
