Timothy James Eckel, age 62 of Knoxville, passed away March 21, 2022 at Parkwest Medical Center after a long illness. He was of the Baptist faith. Tim was a loving father, son, and grandfather. He was employed by UPS for over 26 years. He loved being with his kids and grandkids. He was an excellent tennis player and an avid Tennessee Vols fan. He always enjoyed watching the Vols. He will be greatly missed by all, but especially by his wife Anita who was always by his side. Preceded in death by his father, Mack Eckel, Sr. Survived by his wife of 32 years, Anita; mother, Loretta Eckel; son, Christopher and wife Haliegh, their children, Kyden, Emma and Eli and his daughter Courtney; brothers, Mack Eckel, Jr. (Becky), Steve Eckel (Amy).
