Sue Hurst, 87, went to Heaven on May 5, 2018. A caring, loving mother, grandmother and devoted wife for 67 years. She was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church and former member of Central Baptist Bearden.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three siblings and survived by her husband, R.G. “Glen”; children, Michael (Jean), Patrick and Janet; sister, Wanda Moses; grandchildren, Gretchen Sutton (Geoff), Scott Hurst, Nicholas Hurst (Samantha), Parker Hurst (Beth); great-grandchildren, Stella Sutton and expected soon, Easton Hurst and Harrison Hurst.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 12 at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 pm with an Entombment Service to follow in the Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Dr. Larry Fields.
