Steward "S.R." Ray Dickey III

Steward Ray "S.R." Dickey III, age 78, of Knoxville, TN passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023. He enjoyed working on old cars, being outside and loved working with horses and his dogs. S.R. cherished the memories made through the years with all of his friends. He was a simple, independent and strong christian man who loved his family. S.R. will be greatly missed by his family, close friends and all of those who loved him.

He is preceded in death by his son, Lee Mitchell Dickey; father, Steward Dickey Jr.; mother, Doris Dickey Cruze and Aunt Grace Dickey.

S.R. is survived by daughter, Karen Dickey Hampton; son-in-law, Michael Hampton; daughter-in-law, Christy Dickey; grandchildren: Kaylie Hampton, Brady Hampton and Reece Dickey; former wife, Vivian Dickey; special friends: Theresa Hall, Wayne Baker, Frank Shearl and Jerry Haynes; aunt, Sarah Mae Rousseau; half-sister, Tina Clabo and many other extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, August 31, 2023 between the hours of 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the parlors of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville. Family and friends will meet Friday, September 1, 2023 at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville for an 11:00 AM Graveside Service.
