Steven Rex Milbourn

Steven graduated from Oliver Springs High School in 1991. Steven worked in contracting at the Oak Ridge Nuclear Plants, hurricane remediation in New Orleans, and was presently supervising work & rebuilding after the Gatlinburg fire of 2016. Steven was best known for his devotion to family, incredible work ethic, O.C.D.-ness, & big heart.

Steven is survived by his wife Kirsten Brooke Milbourn of Knoxville, TN, sons Marshall Thomas and Mason Grant Milbourn, daughter Madelyn Brooke Milbourn also of Knoxville, TN; parents Brenda Marshall of Crossville, TN & Frank Milbourn of Oak Ridge, TN; grandmother Velma Audeen Milbourn of El Dorado, KS; sister Melissa Ann Cain (Scott) of New Orleans, LA; mother-in-law Terri Thomas (Timothy) of Bristol, TN; sister-in-law Leslie Griffith (B.J.) of Knoxville, TN; brother-in-law Matthew Griffith (Tabatha) of Seymour, TN; & many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, & nephews.

Steven is preceded in death by grandfather Ira Thomas Marshall Jr.; grandmother Gladys Fay Marshall, longtime residents of El Dorado, KS; and grandfather Rex Vernon Milbourn of El Dorado, KS.

Steven’s immediate family will receive family & friends on September 29, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Highland West Memorial Funeral Home, 9913 Sherrill Blvd., Knoxville, TN. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM with Pastor Charles Brooks officiating.
