Stanley William Jones

Jones, Stanley W. “Casey”, age 87, of South Knoxville, went to his heavenly home on October 29, 2014. He was a longtime member of Forest Grove Free Will Baptist Church. He died from complications of melanoma. His kindness, gentle spirit and wit will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Mr. Jones served in World War II as a young man and then returned and worked at Palm Beach Company for 53 years. Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his wife Claudette “Leenie” Jones; his parents, Clora E. and Elza Mae Jones and several brothers and sisters and in-laws. Left to mourn his passing are his daughters, Andrea Sisk and husband Terry, Jackie Myers and husband Matt; his “buddies” his grandchildren, Melanie Smith and husband Jim, Casey Myers and Natalie Myers; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Luke, and Faith Smith; brother, Clarence Jones and sister, Dot Plemons and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. John Acker and Dr. Eric Carlson for their compassionate medical care and would like to extend a special thank you to his caregivers Myrtle, Tim, and Beckie who kept him “home and happy.” The family will receive friends at Valley Grove Baptist Church, 9000 Sevierville Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920 on Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 12 noon to 1:30 PM.
