Sonya Gaye McFalls

Sonya Gaye McFalls, age 60 of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away peacefully on September 6, 2022 as a result of heart failure. Sonya loved the Lord and truly loved all her family and friends. Sonya had a special gift of caring for others and making everyone who knew her feel special. Her love of others was a blessing for each and every person who's life she touched .

She is preceded in death by her father, Fred Dwight McFalls and brother, Earnie McFalls. She is survived by her loving mother, Nellie McFalls and sister, Janet McFalls Jackson along with her brother-in-law, Andrew "Andy" Jackson VI, and nieces, Rachel Jackson, Rebekah Jackson and Melanie McFalls, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Friday at Weaver Funeral Home located at 5815 Western Ave., Knoxville, Tennessee with the service to follow at 7 pm. with Roger Williams and Larry Ogle officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 am Saturday at Oak Ridge Memorial Park, 1501 Bethel Valley Rd., Oak Ridge, for a 10:00 am graveside service.

Honorary Pallbearers are Brian McFalls, Samuel Whitt, Larry Ogle, Rick Herron, Chris Hayes and Andy Jackson.
