SONDRA LAWHERN age 67 of Knoxville, passed away October 24, 2015 at Parkwest Hospital. She was of the Baptist Faith. Preceded in death by parents, Roy and Orene Patrick; sisters, Dot Hurst, Shorty Naillon and Ramona Harris; brother, Joseph Roy Patrick. Survived by her husband, Steven Lawhern; sons, Brian Steven and Matthew Franklin Lawhern; daughter, Amy Rebeka Glenney; brother, Arville Roy Patrick; sisters, Juanita Allen, Millie Mohon, Jannie Bennett and Diane Loveday. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Friday at Weaver’s Chapel with the service to follow at 7 pm, Pastor Chester Hodsden officiating. Sondra’s body will lie in state from 1-2 pm Saturday at Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home in Burnsville, NC and the burial will follow in Academy Hill Cemetery in Burnsville.
