Shirley Lynn Young, age 70, of Seymour, went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 28, 2016. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Haline Taylor; daughter, Katrina Houser; brother, Hal Taylor; and sister, Grace Scarbrough. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Bill Young; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Sherrie Young; grandsons, Adam Young and Jonathan Sutton; brother, Floyd Taylor; sister, Clara Hair; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway. Services will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Donny Walker officiating.
