Weyant, Shirley Elizabeth Roberts, 87 of Knoxville, TN passed away May 28, 2020. Shirley grew up in King Ferry of upstate New York. She married and spent more than 30 years in the southern Miami Florida area where she raised her children, attended college, worked, and for a time, lovingly fostered young infants and toddlers in need. At retirement, she and Walt moved to East Tennessee where one of their daughters lives. Shirley was, and always will be, cherished as a loving and gracious soul.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Walter B. Weyant, Jr. and brother, Frank Roberts. Shirley is survived by daughters, Laurie Weyant and Suzette Gould; 3 grandchildren and one great grandchild; brother, Richard Roberts; a niece and nephews. Family will receive friends Thursday, June 25 from 6-8pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Humane Society at www.humanesociety.org.
